1800: 41 George 3 (G.B.) c.24: An Act for continuing, until six Months after the Conclusion of a general Peace, three Acts made in the thirty-third and thirty-eighth Years of his present Majesty’s Reign, for establishing Regulations respecting Aliens arriving in this Kingdom, or resident therein, in certain cases.

‘WHEREAS an Act was made in the thirty-third Year of the Reign of his present Majesty,

intituled, An Act for establishing Regulations respecting Aliens arriving in this Kingdom, or resident therein, in certain cases, which was to be in force until the first Day of January one thousand seven hundred and ninety-four, and from thence to the End of the then next Session of Parliament; and which by several subsequent Acts was continued until the first Day of July one thousand seven hundred and ninety-nine:

And whereas by two Acts made in the thirty-eighth Year of the Reign of his present Majesty, the said Act was amended, and further continued until the first Day of August one thousand eight hundred, and from thence to the End of the then next Session of Parliament; And whereas the said Acts, made in the thirty-third and thirty-eighth Years of the Reign of his present Majesty, have been found useful and expedient;’ be it therefore enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same,

That the said Acts made in the thirty-third and thirty-eighth Years of the Reign of his present Majesty, and all the Powers and Provisions therein contained, shall be, and the same are hereby further continued until six Months after the Conclusion of a general Peace.
