Popular Titles: a listing of non-official popular titles used for some statutes, prior to the adoption of short titles.

Variances: As the dating and numbering of English and Anne-era British legislation differs between the common eighteenth century collections and the authoritive ‘Statutes of the Realm’ edition published in the early nineteenth century, this page reproduces the table of variances between the two that was originally published in the offical ‘Chronological Table and Index of the Statutes’.
