1779: 19 George 3 c.15: An act to continue an act made in the fourteenth year of the reign of his present Majesty, (intituled, An act for regulating mad-houses,) for a further time therein limited.

WHEREAS an act was passed in the fourteenth year of the reign of his present Majesty,
[Act 14 Geo III. recited.]
intituled, An act for regulating mad-houses: And whereas it is expedient that the said act should be continued for a further time; be it therefore enacted by the King’s most excellent majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the lords spiritual and temporal, and commons, in this present parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same,
[and further continued for seven years.]
That the said act shall continue in force for the further term of seven years, and from thence to the end of the then next session of parliament.
