1797: 37 George 3 c. 124: An act to make perpetual an act passed in the fifth year of the reign of his late Majesty, intituled An act to prevent the committing of frauds by bankrupts.

[Preamble.]

WHEREAS an act was made in the fifth year of the reign of his late majesty King George the Second,

[5 Geo. 2. c. 30, recited.]

intituled An act to prevent the committing of frauds by bankrupts, which has been continued by several subsequent acts, until the first day of June one thousand seven hundred and ninety-six, and from thence to the end of the then next session of parliament: and whereas it is expedient that the said act should be made perpetual; be it therefore enacted by the King’s most excellent majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the lords spiritual and temporal, and commons, in this present parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same,

That the said act shall be, and the same is hereby made perpetual.
